Joseph’s story

A&P

B. Assuming Joseph’s heart has stopped, functions are going to be affected by the loss of oxygen, blood glucose and waste removal?
a. If Joseph’s heart not pumping blood and oxygen the glucose in the blood with not make it to the main organs in the body. The body will not produce ATP and the cells within the body will die.
C. Which intracellular organelles have membranes as part of their structure? How would the breakdown of the membranes of these structures affect the function of Joseph’s heart cells?
a. ATP transfers calcium the cytosol to the endoplasmic reticulum in cardiac muscle cells. Lacking of the membrane the stages would just increase without channels in the membrane to regulate them causing an overload that would attack the cytoskeleton.
D. Two important pieces of information- the instruction Joseph’s body needs to repair itself and his predisposition for vascular disease – are both contained within the cell on which structures?
a. The structures need for repair is called the mRNA and this works with synthesis 0f protein, predisposition is inside the Mitochondrial DNA and all is needed to repair the body. E. Joseph’s heart attack has caused the function of his cells to change. What types of proteins in the cell membrane were involved in the homeostatic imbalances of his heart cells?

a. The ATP interrupts the forcing into the membrane through ion channels, ATPase’s will affect it in the reverse way because of
