Plutarch's account of Caesar's assassination was through the thoughts of the Senators. This showed the planning behind the assassination and how they were going to proceed with it. Your could almost feel the disdain amongst the senators with the thought of Caesar's tyranny. The account was gruesome and made me feel like everyone hated Caesar. With Caesar yelling for help, this seemed to have encouraged mortal wounds to be inflicted. It starts small with a wound to the shoulder and leads into blows to the body and multiple stabbings. For such an intimate and gruesome killing to occur, there has to be an extraordinary amount of hate.

Shakespeare recount of Caesar does not solely focus on the assassination. The assassination actually
