There are approximately 16 different personality types discussed in the publications that are referenced in this paper, per the Jung Typology Test (Jung Typology Test, n.d.), I scored as an Extroverted, Sensing, Feeling, and Judging (ESFJ). Although this is one of the many simply defined as the ways in which humans behave, whether that be professionally or in a more personal setting. According to psychiatrist C. G. Jung, “human behavior is not random, but is predictable and therefore classifiable” (Kroeger, Thuesen, & Rutledge, 2002). To be an effective leader, one must learn to listen and then speak. I have found that after becoming a police officer, my moral convictions are stronger than ever. This presents a problem in my personal life because I am never “off-duty”.
