Justice Abe Fortas is the epitome of a person who believes that students should have a freedom of speech in schools unlike H. Black who believes that students do not have a free will to do or say whatever they please.
Abe Fortas says, “… there is not enough to overcome the right to freedom of expression”(paragraph 4), which shows the reader how the schools do not have enough evidence to keep children hostage of their feelings. Mr. Fortas also states how we are all humans with rights, and the state must treat us with dignity. Mr. Abe says, “ Students in school, as well as out of school are ‘ people ‘ under our constitution.
