Juvenile systems has been an important part of the court system for around two hundred years. The system protect minors from facing long term charges when there is still time to change the troubled kids.Tho the court is helpful in straightening Minors out it is also flawed in many ways and can not always protect minors from facing a regular court system. The juvenile court system has many issues yet is helpful to minors.
Before 1889 minors were processed and charged the same way adults were, But the methods were overwhelming for many children that would often enter the courtroom. When it came to punishment the courts saw that children had better capability to change and were harder to blame. For these reasons the juvenile court system was created.The Juvenile system serves minors which are all kids below the age of 16-19 upon arrest ,the age depends on the state. The juvenile justice system then gives appropriate punishment to these minors.The punishments vary depending on the crime, the crime could be an incarnation or non incarnation .
Non incarnation punishments for less serious crimes. A verbal warning can be given for lesser crimes. The court can order for the minor to pay a fine, this fine is usually paid to the government or the victim. Community service, the minor could be

Sarah finds threw the progression of the case Jay changed his story multiple times in drastic ways. Jay changes things such as where he was, that he helped Adnan bury the body, and many more major details.
