General Purpose: To inform
Specific Purpose: To inform my audience about juvenile delinquency.
Central Idea: As juveniles they go through a lot during their maturing process they face many life challenges in many cases some are personal. Those challenges that are considered personal can predispose a juvenile to delinquent behavior.
Introduction
I. Attention-Getter: Juvenile delinquent behavior is one of the most important issues we face as a nation in this new millennium. Approximately 1.8 to 2.2 million juveniles under the age of 18 are arrested by law enforcement each year.
II. Central Idea: We will see that juvenile face many personal life challenges that predispose a juvenile to delinquent behavior.
