DMC also was known as the Juvenile Justice program which teaches boys discipline as well as life lessons. But should the teens who killed Mr. Griffin take part in this program? No, the teens should not take part in this program because they originally planned out their alibis. Mark Kinney already knew the outcome of this plan. This program is for people who have behaved badly in their lives, but Mark does not feel remorse for this, neither do some teens who took part in this program, especially Mark. Now, the following examples which led up to Mr. Griffin's death from kidnapping, which is a felony. In addition to death, which is considered first-degree murder and reasons why they should not join this rehabilitation program.

One example is when Mark burns the cat, and he does not even feel remorse for that cat. Even so, in order for you to be a psychopath is by having the lack of empathy, lack of remorse or guilt, deceitful and manipulative these are some of many emotional and interpersonal feelings that represent Mark. The second example is that the psychopath tends to feed off the information which makes them more manipulative. Which is same with Mark because he observes people and sees what each person does, which made him manipulate others to make them join his plan. So that he's not the only one doing this and also has help from the others. The third example is that psychopaths become stronger when they're put in jail or are getting treated. This is because when psychopathy are punished or treated, they become more aggressive and far for manipulative they try to pretend they feel something but inside. They know they do not. In this book, There are many reasons as to why Mark should not receive and rehabilitation than there is for him receiving it. Mark is a boy who wanted to get revenge on Mr. Griffin for begging him to get into the class. The reason why Mark is angry with Mr. Griffin is because he is getting in his way and occurs when frustration occurs. Mark is a type of person who does not forgive he is a different type of person one who is not like the others because he wants everything his way he wants to have fun, he basically did this for revenge, but Mark does not feel empathy or remorse full or even guilt, which proves that he is a psychopath.
