“Experts say that if children can’t read by end of the fifth grade they lose self confidence and self-esteem making them more likely to enter the juvenile justice system”- Dirk Kempthorne. Juveniles should be convicted as adults for violent crimes because they know that what they are doing is wrong. If they weren’t punished then they will do whatever they want without getting in trouble. If the juveniles don’t get in trouble he/she will think that they can get away with anything bad that they do. Some of them will know that what they are doing is wrong and might change their ways. Social justice is terms of the distribution of wealth, opportunities, and privileges within a society. Kids that are under the age of 13 shouldn’t be charged as adults because they are still young and they might not know what is right and what is wrong to do. Some of these kids that commit crimes have a disorder or something wrong with them.Most kids that are under the age of 18 don’t know the consequences of murdering someone. There brain begins developing very early in prenatal life or a longlife. If kids aren’t charged as adults they will think that they can keep doing bad things without getting in trouble. Some of them will even do something worse than what they did before and not get in trouble by it. If they don’t get charged as an adult then they will not learn from their mistakes. They will keep traveling that dark path that they're on without noticing what they're doing is wrong. People should start making a change so that kids like that can live a happy life and not live behind a jail cell for half of their life. In conclusion, juveniles should be sent to jail as adults they need to understand what they are doing is wrong. They also have to learn that what they are doing is bad and it is leading them into a dark path. The farther they walk that path they are making their life even
