To keep Ardasten a clean and healthy city, we have many plans and ideas. But like everything else in this world, it is not perfect. To help prevent pollution for cars we have decided to make the cars that transport garbage and/or recycling solar powered. This is a healthy alternative to gas, unfortunately, it would cost a large amount of money because we would have to buy quality solar panels for multiple trucks to drive long distances with. As mentioned before, we plan to use mushrooms as a environmentally friendly and biodegradable alternative to styrofoam. We also plan to have rain barrels on the roofs of houses that collect rainwater and uses them for toilets and other reasons. Some of Ardasten’s solution might be costly, but money that is lost gets made up in the money that we saved using other solutions.…show more content… Because the product is alive and natural, the energy costs are 1/10 of the energy costs of producing styrofoam. It’s cost effective and can be done anywhere in the world but it is best done locally and this would reduce wasted energy in shipping costs. The rain barrels would save money and water because we wouldn’t have to go through a whole process to clean and transfer water from streams or other places. Using rain barrels, we would only have to take the water that was put into the barrels and connect them to a plumbing system and then the water is then used for toilets. Ardasten also has solar powered trucks. These trucks would decrease the amount of pollution in the air and save money because we wouldn’t have to worry about the cost of using fossil fuels on these
