"Kelsey Middle School creates a caring, developmentally-appropriate environment for young adolescents that challenge all students to meet their intellectual potential and become responsible, contributing members of a culturally diverse world" (). Inside Kelsey Middle School there is a public address (PA) system used to share morning announcements and any other information that needs shared with the masses of the entire building. There is also the school telephone system, each classroom has its own extension. There are computers in every classroom for teachers to be contacted through e-mail. There is also a mailing system that allows paper work and other documents to be delivered within the district. And of course, you have face-to-face communication within the building. Most external communications are done via telephone, e-mail, or written letters. The school district will also send out mailings of important information involving the community and the district. All communications from the school, whether internal or external, must be professional in nature. Teachers and all faculty of a school district are viewed as being pillars of the community, and therefore, are held to a higher standard.
