The Paragraph from Kenneth Burke’s, “The Philosophy of the Literary Form” was a little hard for me understand. In my opinion, it contains metaphors. The argument was a never ending because the participants were only trying to get their ideas across. Instead of that, the participants should have found a common ground and agree to disagree to find a solution for whatever matter that they are arguing on. Generally, in life people care about being right and feel good about themselves. Most of us put our egos first and don’t admit that we are wrong. On reflection, in life, if people decide to find common ground in arguments and put their egos aside, the world would have been a better place to live in.
