The City of Kentner is currently experiencing a drought, and as a result, it has become crucial that the city reduce water usage by 25%. In order to do so, as Chief Engineer of the Department of Water in Kentner, I believe that the best course of action would be to set a monthly limit on water consumption on each household. This limit will depend on the number of individuals residing in each home. By the end of each month, if the household has a water balance remaining, one-third of the balance will be transferred to the next month’s balance, and the remaining portion will be saved for emergency situations that the city may face.

The solution I have come up with is very likely to effectively attain the goal of reducing water consumption in the city. This is because the limit of water would, for starters, inform the citizens that this is a serious matter we are facing, and they will be more likely to take this into consideration when going about their everyday lives.
