1. Kiana is homeless. Explain how this could prevent her from achieving self-actualization.
Self-actualization is the realization or fulfillment of one's talents and potentialities, especially considered as a drive or need present in everyone. Because of the fact that she is homeless, she won’t have any motivation, and will have lack of confidence which will prevent her from achieving self-actualization.

2. Clarissa enjoys writing, but when she gets a job writing for the paper she finds it much less enjoyable. What concept might explain this?
Clarissa finds it less enjoyable to write for the paper because, she isn’t interested and therefore she isn’t motivated to complete that type of work. The concept of intrinsic motivation explains this.
