Several cases in the Supreme Courts have tried minors as adults and sentenced them to life in prison without parole. Should minors be denied the rights of adults, such as voting, provide their military service, and not be allowed to drink, but be tried as adults and further be sentenced to life without parole? Should any special condition take effect when the minor is getting adjudged?

I agree with the Supreme Court Justices who argue that mandatory life in prison for juveniles who commit murder should be abolished. I agree with the decision because many juveniles who commit these actions are teens who have developing bodies and this development affects the brain’s logic and emotions.
