Bees play a big role in our plant, but we don't really think about how much they actually do for us. Bees provide us with over 70% of our fruits and vegetables and help create cotton to make clothes. Now more than 50% of these bees are going extinct. To survive we need these bees because without them the human population will decrease.

Since the 1990’s, beekeepers have been saying that their bees are mysteriously disappearing. Some say over 50-90% of bees have been disappearing. If this keeps happening, then most things will change. No one really thinks about what bees do for us. Bees help with pollination they also help provide most of our food and clothing. Without these bees, almost or whole lifestyles would change. So what is happening to these bees?

Bees have been greatly after by destruction of habitat, but mostly because of bee-killing pesticides called neonicotinoids. Many people use pesticides on there lawn and gardens, but most of these pesticides have deadly ingredients inside of them that can seriously harm or kill animals and insects. If neonicotinoids were fed on a bee while on the yard this could either get really ill or die. Another reason the bee population could be decreasing is called Colony Collapse Disorder or C.C.D. Colony Collapse Disorder is when the majority of worker bees in a colony leave or

Ecological farming helps ensure healthy farming healthy food and ensure that the bees and other insects are safe while doing it. Ecological farming does not contaminate the environment like some pesticides do. Organic farms do more harm to the environment than good, This is why we need to use ecological farming because it is very good for the environment, Ecological farming increases biodiversity, overall if we tried to use more of these farms the bee population would rise and make it safer and healthier for other insects to live on these
