Kimberly Cough was adopted into a big family on October 13, 2004, her birthday, is June 14, 2003. Kimberly has lived in Portland all her life but she would like to live in bar harbor where her mother grew up. For almost two years now Kimberly has been vegetarian being the only vegetarian in her house. In her free time Kimberly enjoys rock climbing, playing soccer, running and taking pictures of people, places she visits and nature’s beauty. Kimberly enjoys learning and her favorite learning experience is in seventh grade when the grade went to Ferry Beach.

Kimberly and her team were beginning to panic because they needed to find a fourth person that hadn’t used all of their turns, quickly. As Kimberly was running around frantically looking for someone she ran into Megan who was the perfect candidate for the spot except that she only ran a 1:20 compared to Mimi 1:06 which might not seem like a big deal but it kind of is. So even though Megan wasn’t as fast, they still needed her. Kimberly was the last runner and she could see her competitors gaining on her so as she was approaching the finish line she leaned forward so she could reach it, hopefully faster than if she had just stood straight up, and it worked! Kimberly’s team won first place by only .7 of a second. Kimberly had learned after this, that even if one person is sick and you find someone who you haven’t practice with you can still win, it might not be as easy and you might fall behind at some point, but you have to persevere and maybe if you try hard enough you’ll pull through and
