But its effects on the body go well beyond a fleeting feeling of happiness. Alcohol is a central nervous system depressant, and excessive use can have disastrous effects on one's physical health. This study explores the negative effects of alcohol addiction on people's health and well-being through the analysis of two scenarios, providing insight into the short- and long-term effects of alcohol intake.
