King Henry VIII

Henry Viii was king of England. He was an important part of the English Reformation. He was married to six wives in his lifetime. Three of his six wives were named Catherine and two were named Anne. King Henry Viii was only 17 years old when he was made King of England. King Henry Viii influenced society in a positive manner because he lead his country to become Protestant. He made his country free (biography.com). Two of his wives were beheaded. The ways you can remember the ways King Henry's wives died is a little rhyme. It goes "divorced, beheaded, died, divorced, beheaded, and survived (ebscohost.com). King Henry Viii was born on the 28th of June in 1491. His parents were Henry Vii and Elizabeth York. King Henry Viii did not go to school. He had tutors that his parents paid to teach him. Henry grew up in Greenwich Palace. His longest marriage was 22 years with his first wife. He made music. Henry had amazing works of music. The King wrote songs and poems. He wrote love songs to all of his wives. King Henry Viii is famous for having six wives. His six wives were Katherine or Aragon, Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, Anne of Cleves, Catherine Howard, and Catherine Parr. His brother, Arthur, was supposed to be King of England when he got older, but then he died when he was 15 years old. King Henry VIII was only 11 years old when his brother passed. Henry VII died shortly after. Henry VIII was only 17 years old when he became King of England. He had a child with his first wife. They named her Mary. His second wife had a kid with him and it was a girl. They named her Elizabeth, after his mother. King Henry was mad at the lack of being able to have a baby boy
