King Henry V, is a great leader, he motivates his group of warriors by telling them that no one is left behind and King Henry V holds the ability to communicate with people from distinct levels of society by creating an atmosphere of equivalent worth. King Henry V greatest speech was the powerful “ Band Of Brothers” speech. The speech captivated each man among his small army of 10,000 soldiers, therefore boosting their fighting courage. I will present 3 fragments from his speech that exhibit such unique ability. He makes them feel a way as if they should satiate to win the battle. Since there is a little amount of men, king Henry does not regard the lower class and upper class any different from each other. Quote “ the fewer men, the greater share of honour. The gods will! I pray thee, wish not one man more, by Jove. I am not covetous for gold,” when he says, “ I pray thee, wish not one man more” he is saying he does not pray or like just one soldier or warrior just in particular, if anyone was to think of doing this for the money or doing it just for himself he shall most likely be ostracized. He says “then he will strip his sleeves and show his scars” meaning he will show his scars of the day he won and did all that and risked his life during the battle for his people. King Henry was able to understand and communicate with people from distinct levels of society, giving him a distinct perspective on life as a whole, Therefore, allowing him to see the value of each individual no matter their social
