One of the greatest things in life is music. Music can impact people in many ways. It’s such a good way to get away from reality. my three songs, which are, “Kitchen Sink by Twenty One Pilots”, “Dollhouse by Melanie Martinez”, and “Mad Hatter by Melanie Martinez,” describe who I am as a person. These three songs have really made a difference on how I see everything. Kitchen Sink- by Twenty One Pilots is my number one song in my music playlists. This song has made such an impact on my life. It’s my favorite song. I feel like the lyrics describe me and also describe everyone else in a way. My favorite lyrics in this song are, “No one else is dealing with your demons, meaning maybe defeating them could be the beginning of your meaning friend.” These lyrics describe how no one else knows what you’re going through, and that defeating your problems and thoughts by being positive can change your life. This song has a fun sound to it but has deep lyrics. The verse that I think fits me best goes, “Places, places, get in your places. Throw on a dress and put on your dollfaces. Everyone thinks that we’re perfect, please don’t let them look through the curtain.” I personally think that these lyrics relate to almost everyone. It explains that people can hide behind a happy face, and act like they’re doing great. But that’s not always the case. People everyday can say and look like they’re having a great day, but can be having a horrible day. And the last part of the lyrics describes that they don’t want people to see the real them and how they’re feeling. So they won’t open up to you, or show
