I visited Krakow Ghetto Memorial and Oslo Holocaust Memorial sites. The both sites with monuments of “absent chairs” as memorial elements. In Oslo, the monument is an empty iron chairs without sits with idea of missing 750Norway Jewish people who were deported to the death camps in three ships and has never returned. The Norway memorial is on the south side of the Oslo below of the old fort.
Krakow Ghetto Memorial commemorates 56,000 Jewish making up one quarter of the city population during WWII. The same chain of events as it was in Warsaw happened in Krakow. Jews were starved to death in concentration ghetto or departed and murdered later in the death camp. The memorial consists of 33 steel iron chairs in the square and 37 chairs at bus
