Kyrie Irving is arguably one of the best point guards of all time. Kyrie Irving is the definition of hard work, which he displays all the time. From his work ethic, to never giving up, he has received countless awards because of his hard work and dedication to the game of basketball. As soon as he steps onto the court, it’s all about the game. Kyrie Irving’s life has change drastically for the better because of his pretty sad early life, famous and busy public life, and his growing legacy.
The events that took place in Kyrie Irving’s early life had a positive effect on his adult life later on. First of all, Kyrie Irving was born on March 23, 1992, in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. (“Kyrie Irvings Childhood”) This is why Irving is classified as an international player and is capable of playing on the Australian or USA Olympic teams. Australia is where his dad played pro basketball . When Irving was two, his mom passed away, so shortly after that, his family moved to New Jersey. (“Kyrie Irvings Childhood”)
It must’ve been hard not having a mother growing up all his life. Last of all, he went to St. Patrick High School when he was a teenager. Clearly, Kyrie Irving’s hard work has payed off by the amount of awards he has received in his six years in the NBA. He has also won countless gold medals representing the USA in the olympic games.
