LaVar Ball Takes Out His Son LiAngelo Ball Out of UCLA
In an interview with ESPN, LaVar Ball shared that he decided to pull out his son LiAngelo from the UCLA team. He says that they are already exploring other options. The father claim’s that he’s going to give his son a better draft than UCLA.
LiAngelo Ball was brought to the media’s attention when he got involved in an incident along with two other basketball players from UCLA. The three were caught shoplifting in China. What made the situation a national news was when President Donald Trump decided to get involved with it.

Meanwhile, LaVar is eating up all the attention by promoting his company.
After the shoplifting incident, LiAngelo was suspended by UCLA. According to LaVar, he isn’t going to sit down and wait and that his son wasn’t even punished this bad in China. He said that the consequences back in their own country were harsher than in China.
Steve Alford, UCLA’s coach already issued a statement about it. According to him, they’ve already found out about his withdrawal from the UCLA team and they respect his decision and wish him all the best. Apparently, LaVar did not even inform the coaching staff about his son’s withdrawal. He claims that they didn’t tell him anything so why should he?
LaVar still hasn’t decided where his son will play this season. However, to be clear LiAngelo is not really transferring to a new school. LaVar’s plan is to get him ready for the NBA draft.
LaVar also explained that before this season LiAngelo is going to stay at UCLA for only one season. His brother Lonzo played ball for one season with the Bruins before he was drafted by the NBA. Sports professionals see LiAngleo as having a long shot in getting drafted in June even before his arrest in
