Lake Texoma was impounded in 1944 and is situated on the Red River in North Tx on the Tx and Oklahoma boundary just northwest of Denison and Sherman Tx. It includes 74,686 acres of normal water with a maximum depth of 100 foot. and a pool degree of 615 foot to 619 foot. msl
The lake retains the following kinds; Blue & route catfish, White & striped bass, Striper, Spotted bass, Smallmouth bass, Black colored & white crappie, and Bluegill.
