Knowing the exact date and time of one’s death would be tremendously terrifying. For the people on death row, they experience this every single day. Instead of paying their time, they get the easy way out. The death penalty is not a fair justification and should not be practiced in the United States. The death penalty puts innocent lives at risk. On June 26, 1980 in St. Louis, Missouri, Quintin Moss, 19, was shot in a drive-by during an alleged drug deal. Although evidence contradicts it, Larry Griffin was accused, charged, and executed for the death. He was executed by lethal injection on June 21, 1995. In 2005, a professor of University of Michigan Law School reopened the case. This investigation concluded that Griffin was innocent (Convicts).
