Larry Mccullough's Knee Case Study

In Crosby, Texas, 18 year old Larry McCullough and his 16 year old cousin Cedric “CJ” Ingram Lewis are high school football players who took a knee during the National Anthem. Their coach, Ronnie Mitchem, forced the cousins to take off their entire uniforms on the field and then the cousins were later kicked off the team. He says that he has had the rule that his team was not allowed to kneel during the National Anthem. It is unknown why Mitchem was so strict towards kneeling. This is social injustice for the unusual punishment that was given to the cousins for kneeling during the National anthem. The unusual piece is that Mitchem had the cousins humiliated and then kicked off the team. I think that he should’ve had a more adult approach.
