1. Why do you want to attend Lassiter Early college High School? Is Lassiter your first choice? Why?
a. Lassiter Early college High School (LECHS) has been my first choice since my 7th grade year. It has been one of my dream schools to attend. The school is recognized in the national Rankings and has earned a bronze medal. I believe that Lassiter Early college High School will challenge my potentials as a student. As well as, the school will prepare me for my short term and long term goals. The school will guide me for college-level course work, AP and IB exams. In addition, the school has a 16:1 ratio which is perfect for one-to-one interaction with professors and/or students. Describe what you believe to be perfect high school where you can be successful.
a. The fundamentals qualities of a “perfect school” should have to include good communication with professors-to-students as well as students-to-students. Another quality should be a school that will challenge each individual to reach their maximum potential as a student. In addition, the institution should offer supplementary assistance for those students who are falling behind in their class. This is my vision of what a perfect school should have in order for a student to be successful.
4. What is your academic strength? Your academic weakness? What have you done to deal with this weakness?
a. My academic strengths are working under pressure and being organized. The purpose of this protocol is to produce the highest quality work in the amount of time that I have. With this in mind, it helps me grow as a person and worked well during deadlines. I always learned how to work more efficiently. One of my weaknesses is that I like to be involved in several extra curriculum activities and after school programs. I know it is only a temporary issue.
