The art, is a form and content that provides the opportunity to reveal cultural elements with which the Latinos/as identified themselves in different parts of the world. After reading the article about how art influence the life of the photographer George Sifuentes to identify itself as a Latino. I came to understand that art connects communities in different ways which they promote their artwork that is based on identity-themed projects and most important to tell the stories about their culture and how this help them define their identity. These help them to express their uniqueness and various aspects of their culture (identity). As the author Patel states in the article that Sifuentes only focuses on portraying its identity no matter in what art form but it needs to be relate to who he is and where he comes from so he use his photographs to tell his story to the world and to pride his Latino ethnicity. For example the photographer in the article focus on Hispanic culture because he identify himself to the culture as he relates it with the stories his grandmother used to taught him about his culture when he was younger. So basically art is a storyteller that builds up to made you who you are and where you come from because it is a connection with your culture and it constructs your identity as well. Art symbolizes the connection of how Latinos/as identify themselves and how this becomes a relationship that emphasizes on their family, heritage, and traditions and how it becomes a source of strength, and inspiration for this Latinos/as to construct their
