Application for Paralegal Position

I am writing to apply for the position of Paralegal. Please find enclosed a copy of my CV for your consideration. My desire to change my present position stems from the urge to start shaping my career in right direction; I believe that only now after finishing all my education and obtaining many different types of work experience I am ready to do so. My previous experiences have proved that I got ability of working with client and to manage varied workload any given time.

Throughout all areas of my life I have been a high achiever. I am particularly proud that in every one of my past jobs I was promoted in less than 6 months. I showed commitment, drive and a high quality of work which was noticed by all previous employers.

I gained my degree in Law in 2010 which provided me with my initial insight into legal studies. Through essay writing and extensive reading and researching I developed skills in logical and systemic thinking, enabling me to make valid conclusions and sustainable judgements. To reach deadlines, I learnt to prioritise and manage my time effectively which I know will be important in legal carrier. In addition to the qualifications I have gained and the extracurricular activities I have described one notable academic achievement of mine is that in 2009 I obtained the only mini-pupilage awarded at XYZ
University to be given to a penultimate year student

I have completed a Legal Practice Course at the College where I master my knowledge in Business and Finance Law, Civil
Litigation and Dispute Resolution, Property Law and additionally
Employment Law, Commercial Law and Acquisitions. I gain the experience in writing and drafting various Agreements, Contracts, Memoranda,
Resolutions, Board Minutes and official letters using precedent documents. It was a part of our daily routine to conduct due diligence and Performing Companies House searches and registrations, and creation of transaction bibles. Business and Solicitors Accounts as well as financing of the Company are familiar to me as also the consequences of Insolvency, Liquidation and related Company/Personal
Insolvency Procedures.

I currently work as a Personal Injury Paralegal at
XYZ. This job already given me vast experience of drafting, reviewing, editing operative and disclosure of documents but more importantly coordinating with outside professionals and various groups in order that cases are handled efficiently with the best possible outcome for the client. Reflective practice is also a necessity when taking witness statements, reviewing medical notes, identifying risks and draft documents, progress the litigation process and attend court.

However it was my exceptional ability to synthesize and distil large amounts of information and intellectual curiosity that allowed me to become Head of IT department at the firm in such a short time. I created, maintained and programmed efficient case management system which provides legal database for our firm.
