The theme of Clint Eastwood's “Invictus”, in my opinion, is leadership. While the movie focuses on Mr. Mandela's use of the national rugby team as he worked to unite the country. Mr. Mandela defiantly possess the qualities of a great leader, he was able to recognize the each person experiences were different from the next so their opinions were probably different as well. After he was elected he understood he was now responsible for the well being of the people. He was a man of his word and followed through with his promises, which helped him maintain his credibility with his supporters.
