Glory (1989) is a Hollywood movie where the main character of the movie, Colonel Robert Gould Shaw leads a team of freed black soldiers to fight against the confederate armies during the American civil war. The movie shows how a leader learns to influence an unskilled, but courageous team to accomplish a common goal i.e. defending the Union. Although the movie portraits Colonel Robert as the main leader, we can see different leadership stories within the movie, where each character plays a vital role in supporting Robert’s mission.
