Abstract
Leadership is not only a gift one is born with it could be made possible to obtain theses skills. The way to do this is by doing a leadership development plan of your own to determine ones weaknesses and strengths. Everyone has different opinions to what leadership is and what it truly consists of. Prior to the development plan leadership was thought to be getting task accomplished by ordering people to do things. Being able to compare and contrast my previous abilities with the ones that have been shown through the self-assessments. Through this course the management style that was most compatible with Anthony was the participative style. Leadership is all about awareness of self and ever evolving techniques. It is a life-learning tool that can and will improve your management and work ability in any workplace. Throughout this paper you will see comparison done with current employment at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company.

Overview/Introduction
When presented the query of what leadership was and what defined it, the question came on as a puzzling query. What comes to mind when thinking about leadership qualities is someone that takes charge of a situation presented upon. A person that has become very successful through climbing the corporate ladder through time and dedication is another form of leadership to myself. A person that shows the quality of leadership would be a person that works hard within their job and goes beyond what is expected of them. Most of all they accomplish what their job duties details and accomplish it in a timely fashion.
Prior to beginning this course my abilities to lead were quite limited. Being able to work with others to accomplish goals were well instilled. Personal time management skills when given tasks are well established. Projects are completed on time and in accordance with regulations of what is being asked for. In a couple occasions I was given managerial positions and was able to accomplish the tasks given that day. The tasks were completed on time and with details that were particularly asked for.
After completing the self-assessments the outcomes came to my attention that the participative style in management was the best suit for myself. When it comes to working within a group setting or alone I have the flexibility of working in both group and alone. When given the respect that is deserved and acknowledgement of work done I show dedication and loyalty for the corporation. After completion of self-assessments I have noticed that I do not mind being told what and how to accomplish a goal. Being gender bias when it comes to managing is not a factor within my profile. I believe in equality when managing a team or group. Anyone can be a leader if shown how to properly
The purpose of this paper is to develop a personal leadership plan to help be successful in leading employees. This task will be done by completing a series of self-assessments, completing a swat analysis, and coming to a conclusion on how to adapt to the new founded techniques of my management style.
