Learning how to swim can be terrifying and hard particularly if it is learn in adulthood. Swimming is very enjoyable; however, some people are afraid of water. The fear has even been named aqua phobia. Places like Australia surrounded by the ocean where it can be inundate swimming is not an option is mandatory. If non swimmers knew the seriousness and benefits of swimming they would not hastate to learn. Water is so wonderful to great extent to help injured people recovered with water therapy exercise.
Swimming is a great way to keep your heart and body healthy. One by simply immersing the body in water to the level of the heart increases blood flow through the brain arteries. As a result, it improves vascular health and other vital body functions. If the brain controls and coordinates actions and reactions in the body and swimming is a fundamental for the brain why not make this exercise a routine. For children, swimming is essential too new research shows that baby’s brain develops through bilateral cross- pattering movements like in swimming. Assuming that we already swim as an exercise this also can be a social interaction and a fun entertainment.
There are recreational activities that are not for all ages; however, swimming is for everyone that wants to. Therefore, one will see and be able to talk with different people. Though swimming is mostly an individual activity when is done around people our age it results in good social skills.
