Many times in life when we face hardships we tend to give up, however in the case of Malcolm X he chose to make the best of his situation. In the article "Learning To Read," by Malcolm X, he discussed how he did not allow his hardships in jail to affect his learning experience. There are many examples of people who took a bad situation and turned it around to benefit them.
