Leonardo Da Vinci was probably one of the most important artists of the Renaissance. He was born on April 15, 1452 and until today he is known as the "Renaissance Man" because of all of his contributions to the development of various things. He is most famously known for painting the "Monalisa" and "The Last Supper", but he also had a big part in advances in medicine since was a writer, mathematician, artist and inventor. The Vitruvian Man is probably his most famous anatomy drawing, inspired by Vitruvius Pollio. In about 1482, da Vinci asked Ludovico for a job and sent him some of his sketches of war machines, so of course he was accepted. He then went to Milan so that he could work for Ludovico and their partnership lasted for about 17 years.
