She was Johns correspondence and set a new standard for woman everywhere in our new nation. I honestly didn’t know a lot about Abagail Adams before reading this book, and when I was handed this book and told to read it I thought to myself, “ugh not another boring biography.” However, I was so wrong. Her story is remarkable, and how she proved a woman can be way more than just some lady who cleans, cooks and cares for children
