This letter is regarding the recent change made to the Medical Surgical Unit of Delano Hospital. This change has been made without regard to our concerns or welfare. There have been many recent changes, and we have complied. Although this new change has raised a higher level of concern. Here at Delano we are family. A huge racially diverse family. We care about one and other. That is how this small community hospital has made it for so long. We spend more time with our fellow employees than our own families. We are here because we are compassionate, dedicated and devoted. We care about our patients, and we care about our hospital family.
