Hey Rod,
What’s up
There this article out I’ve read recently stating “Smoking will be banned in all public places, including parks, restaurants, bars, buildings open to the public, schools, hospitals, and sports facilities. The ban includes inside the buildings, the parking facilities, and 1000 feet from the buildings’ entrances.” So I decided to write a letter to the senator and I stated there are some things I do and don’t agree with in the article.
With smoking being banned sounds like great idea for those who don’t smoke. But to those of us that do smoke it’s not sounding too good. I can understand and agree with no smoking in restaurants, schools, sports facilities such as football stadiums, gyms, and baseball stadiums and hospitals. These are place that may have kids, sick, elderly and people that just can’t deal with the smell of smoke. I even agree with the 1000 FT away from the entrance of a building because of the smell of smoke. The reason I don’t agree is banning smoking for a park is just like say stay in the comfort of your own home and smoke or should I say don’t smoke outside [not fair]. Yes
