There are many differences when it comes to the beliefs people have and more importantly the political parties they associate themselves with based on their beliefs. There are two main political parties in the United States. One of them is called to republican party which identifies themselves as very conservative people. The other main party in the United States in the democratic party the people who associate themselves with this party are considered liberal.
The main differences between liberals and conservatives is the views they believe in when it comes to economic issues, social views, and political issues. They are represented as a Donkey and the main political color is blue. They obtain 49/100 Senate seats and 192 House of Representative seats. As of 2012 there are an estimated 43.1 million supporters of the Democratic party in the United States.
On the opposite side of the spectrum conservatives prefer the “government has limited power in the regulations of health care and assistance with the less fortunate. Economically they believe the government should have less taxes and spend less money. They believe charity is the responsibility of the people. Conservatives believe gay marriage and abortions are wrong. They also believe everyone has the right to bear arms.” (“Conservatives vs. Liberals”) Conservatives are viewed as people who have ideas and views that may be considered out of date compared to modern times.
The Republican party was established in 1854. They are represented by the color red and an elephant as their symbol. They obtain 51/100 seats in the Senate and 235 seats in the House of Representatives. As of 2012 there is an estimated 30.7 million supports for the Republican
