Helen Adams Keller is remembered historically by her unique condition. She was born deaf and blind in the late 1800s. Her unfortunate hindrance would give her attention as her uniqueness was recognized. After learning to communicate in alternative ways, she would be prepared and equipped with motivations as she grew up and entered her adolescence and adult life.
