The Death penalty otherwise know as capital punishment, is the punishment of execution, administered to someone legally convicted of a capital crime. The crimes that can be penalized include: treason,terrorism, espionage, federal murder, large-scale drug trafficking. The death penalty started to become a problem in the 1770’s when European theorists started questioning the ethicality of this punishment, for they believed that there was no justification of the state taking a life.
