Kayla did a great job presenting to us about the organization she works in. through her presentation, I learned that she was a former HIHIM student which made her presentation more interesting. This because about five fives ago, she was in a class just like us, but now she is playing important role in the organization she works at. In her presentation, I learned that LifeCenter Northwest as a Business Intelligence Analyst. As a Business Intelligence Analyst, he role is to help interpret the business’s data needs by analyzing the collected data that will help to drive the process of the organization improvement.
Through her presentation, I learned that LifeCenter Northwest is an organization that is dedicated to saving lives through organ and tissues donation. They work very hard to support patients who needed organ or tissue donors and their grieving families throughout donation process. As we were informed, the organization support in person, by phone, onsite at the hospital via letters or referrals to special place for families and patient to feel comfort.

They also provide educational for hospital staffs on organs and tissues donor guidelines and procedures to make sure that the staffs always acknowledge about any donation opportunity and refer to potential donors.
In addition to education, they strive to educate communities about their works and how others could help. For example, they share their work ethics in a place like DMV where people try to help by donating money or sign up to register to donate organs that may improve or even save someone’s
