Doppler radar systems can provide information regarding the movement of targets as well their position. This radar sends out radio waves from an antenna which then is cast back to the transmitter. The frequency only depends on if the object is moving toward or away from the antenna. If the object is moving toward the antenna then the frequency would be higher, but if the object was moving away from the antenna then the frequency would be lower. By calculating how much time it took the waves to come to the transmitter is how you would find the location of the object. The Doppler Radar is used for things such as weather and etc. (http://www.sciencedaily.com/articles/d/doppler_radar.htm )

Polarized sunglasses can be used for driving and, in fact, can reduce glare from a long, flat surface such as the hood of the car or the road's surface. These specific sunglasses contain a special filter that blocks this type of intense reflected light, reducing glare. You would see fishers wearing them. When light reflects off a reflective surface , the light moves parallel to the reflective surface. In this case the glasses helps move the light waves horizontal which means only vertical moving light waves can get through these glasses. Earth’s atmosphere is made of different pieces such as different gasses, water vapors, and etc. These pieces changes the path of light, this process Is known as scattering. The light is scattered
