Remember the time when you and your mother fought about something that you wanted and she said “no” right to your face? Then you started to wonder why. Why is mom doing this? I thought she loved me? We all go through this at some point in our lives and it’s just mom doing her job as a parent. But in the end, after every argument and trouble with the person that gave birth to you, you will always be momma’s little child. No matter what, mom will never steer you wrong because she only wants what’s best for you.
The relationship between a mother and child is very different for everyone and is also very complicated. This relationship can be good or bad or even both but an example of this mother to child relationship is in the novel Like Water

One instance of our relation at its best was when I was a little boy around the first and second grade. My mom would put education first in almost all situations because she wanted me to do my best in school and have a bright future. Well the downside was that my mom would constantly tutor me and give me huge worksheets that i have to do and a book to read at times. Little me just hated all this school work when I should just be a kid and have fun while putting school behind my mind. But after all the nagging and struggling, my mom was just teaching me high standards and making me do my best which resulted me being ahead of all my peers throughout elementary. Now I realise that she wasn't giving me all of those school related work to torture me because I did something wrong but was because she loved me and only wants what's best for me since she too was in elementary school and knows the way around things. All my mom is doing is just using her wisdom and passing down the good things she learned throughout her years on living in this planet to me which I will pass down for generations to come making a mother and child’s relationship key to a good future for the
