1. Terrorist attack
Likelihood of event: %80
In the article “How likely are foreign terrorists to kill Americans? The odds may surprise you” Dave Mosher and Skye Gould discuss how likely some events are to kill an individual over their life span. Terrorism of all forms comes thirty-third on the list being less likely than getting killed by bicycling (2017). In Singmans article “2017 terror forecast for US, Europe ‘alarming,’ says House report” covers the reasons that I believe a terror attack is coming. I think the chances of getting attacked are increased now that the trump administration is putting more pressure on radicals. Likelihood of event: %0 The average temperature for the next few months seem like they will be a little above average in the south but cold/wet in the north and east, and nothing that will make records.
In both articles, there is an agreeance that temperatures in the south will be above average but in the north the temperatures will remain below average for an extended period (Lam, 2017), (MacMath, 2017). This is enough to have me convinced that temperatures will not exceed to record breaking numbers.

4. Supreme Court justice
Likelihood of event: %75
This event would be definite but I believe this is less likely to happen just because of the amount of time it has recently took to confirm a Supreme Court justice. There are 81 days in the period we are talking about, but during Obamas presidency it an average of 77 days to confirm a Supreme court nominee (Nytimes.com, 2017).
