The novel Frankenstein by Mark Shelly, fits all ten of the elements of a graphic novel based on the article. Mary Shelly used all the elements decided and discussed in this list to create her master piece. The first element discussed in the article was the setting was in a castle. Victor Frankenstein created his lab in an abandoned which was where he created the monster. The second element that was expressed was mystery and suspense. Suspense was used throughout the novel. An example of this is when Victor was gathering parts for the monster. He stole from graves and other places to get the body parts that he needed for the monster which created a suspense and a mystery about a creation. The creation and the creature himself are all connected to the supernatural idea expressed in this novel. The creature is an intelligent and superhuman creature that defies the ways of nature which is why it can be seen as a supernatural figure.
