Little neptunium was born on 1940 at the University of California. My atomic number is 93 and I belong in the rare earth metal family. The people that created me are professor Edwin McMillan and graduate student Philip Abelson. The way I was created is truly mysterious but the way my creators made me were by, bombarding uranium with cyclotron-produced and slow neutrons, which resulted in the reactants fusing to form the new element me neptunium. I am a silver color and I also live up to 2.14 million years. Well after growing up for a while from being a little baby neptunium now i'm in school studying how to become nuclear fuel. It's a lot of work and i'm constantly having to go to school every single day but I know my creators will be happy
