There has been and always will be partners in crime. I’m sure everyone knows Batman and Robin, Spongebob and Patrick, The Joker and Harlee Quinn; they’re all like two peas in a pod. There is one crime, though, that might have had two culprits who had gotten off the hook. Almost the entire world has heard of Lizzie Borden, the girl who brutally murdered her parents with a hatchet, but there could be another suspect. Borden had to have had a helper to complete this crime and it had to have been the servant Bridget Sullivan due to their stories changing, the undisturbed crime scene, and Bridget standing up for Lizzie, though evidence proved guilty. On August 4th, 1892 Andrew and Abby Borden were hacked to pieces in their home in Fall River, Massachusetts. Important to realize, considering their wounds there is no way a woman alone could have done that much damage to a human skull. It would have taken at least 520 pounds of force to crush. This could be fairly possible if two people were to have grasp on the hatchet. Not to mention, Andrew’s face had been chopped to be unrecognizable, while Abby had wounds everywhere above the waist. Abby had a spinal energy, her stomach and abdomen were removed, and her left ear had been crushed carrying bone into the brain; Andrew was found with his left eye dug out and a gash the …show more content…
To explain, she had anger towards Abby for making her clean/wash the windows in the sun. “She made me wash the windows in the scorching hot!” If she didn’t want to be ordered around maybe being a maid wasn’t for her. Also, during her questioning Bridget might have made a slight mistake. She testified that Lizzie was the only person home at the time of the murders. Also during her questioning she explained that when she finished her chore outside she laid down inside the house; sounds a little fishy. Overall, Bridget’s story really doesn’t add up to prove her innocent claim at
