SKI TRIP TO
ZILLERTAL 2011
Thirty eight students and five staff enjoyed an awesome trip to Austria during the
Easter holidays. After a long journey through the night they still arrived very eager to hit the slopes. They learnt to ski in
Finkenburg and on the Hintertux glacier.
They had wonderful powdery snow, practiced yodelling and had no broken bones anywhere for one week. Everyone had a huge amount of fun and a fabulous time in the snow. All are looking forward to next Year’s 2012 trip already.

NOWER HILL
BARBERSHOP CHOIR
Nower Hill Barbershop took to the centre of the arena at the Royal Albert Hall on
Monday 2nd May, where they took part in a performance of the final scene of
Musorgsky's opera Khovanshchina, using the Stravinsky completion. A large number of Nower Hill's instrumentalists and dancers also took part in what was an exciting and varied programme, also featuring Duke Ellington, George
Gershwin, Stevie Wonder and Sting. They represented Nower Hill excellently in what was a superb evening, enjoyed by all. Very well done to all of you!
