I appreciated that this article took the time to explain the importance of stories. I agree with what is stated in the article, in that, they do last for many, many years and often time never go away. I liked that the article used examples of other stories to emphasize the long-lasting effect of a single story. The woman in Nazi Germany who was willing to risk her life to tell young children a story was something great; to be in such troublesome times and still have the bravery to tell banned stories truly shows their long lasting outcome. Although the story had many good aspects, I didn't like that they brushed over religious stories.
